Stephanie led Mike through the hallway, pointing out all the rooms along the way. "That's yours over there. You can unpack your stuff later..."
"Ready?" As they reached the end of the corridor, a small wooden door stood before them. Stephanie undid a latch and opened the door, revealing the whiteness of the actic tundra and the spacious sky above it.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"

Mike rummages through his bag quick and pulls out a blanket; he offers half to her. "Hope you don't mind sharing..."

"Well, you've certainly come prepared," Stephanie commented, as she draped half of the blanket over her shoulders, scooting closer.

"Blankets. Never leave home without one," he remarks. He slips an arm around her and hugs her gently, shifting his gaze from the skies to her for a moment.
"Thanks for inviting me to come here. I've only been here a few minutes, and I already feel at home..."

"I'd hope so," Stephanie replied, as she leaned her head on his shoulder. "I want everyone to feel happy here... where the Tales family is together."

The two of them rest together for awhile, watching the sky darken and the stars come into view. After awhile he shifts his head and whispers three short words into her ear, then gently rests his head against hers and sighs.
