Arrival and snow time!

Tatiana stood at the base of the hill. She could see a bit of the cottage from where she stood, but that was going to be one annoying climb, especially with all the stuff she brought with her.

"Just remember, you're only bringing all of this up once, 'cause it's all going to stay in the cottage anyway," the twenty-year-old sighed, "besides, you need the exercise." She stared up at the hill, which in her eyes seemed to transform into a wall.

Tatiana slumped into the snow in front of the porch, her belongings fell around her, putting her in the middle of a circle of bags. For three minutes she sat there, catching her breath. Looking around she saw that she was probably one of the last to arrive, as the others had been occupied to making sculptures in the snow. A brief smile came to her lips as she got up, struggled to pic up her bags, and made her way to the front door. After she put her stuff away, she'll be back to start on her own snow sculpture.

A sudden force from behind pounces Tatiana into a nearby (conveniently placed) snowdrift. "Shii~!" Said force gives the poor girl an enthusiastic squeeze, then thankfully helps her to her feet to hug her properly.

"I missed you! How've you been?"

Tiana was taken by surprise as she was pounced on soon after she came back outside with her supplies. Getting back up she swallowed the little bit of snow that was in her mouth, thankfully it wasn't yellow. "F0n9-kun!" she called as she tackled him into the snow drift. She knew it was Michael as soon as he called her nickname, as only he had permission to use said nickname. After she pulled him back out of the snow, she hugged him proper. "I take it that everyone is already here? I'll be back inside in a minute, I want to make a snow famliy," The young woman winked and went to make her snow creation.

Tatiana wandered to find the right place for her sculpture, ideas dancing playfully in her head. She ventured in a slightly wooded area and thought she found the perfect spot, until she saw the igloo. "Apparently someone else thought the same as I did," Tiana sighed. She looked around the igloo and found a window to look inside. Her jaw nearly hit the snow with what she saw inside. "How cute!" she exclaimed. She turned around hopeing to find a place for her own cute creation.

Tiana smiled at what she found. She liked the area where the igloo was, sure, but this she thought was more believable. The trees weren't as evenly spaced apart. It looked more... wild. That and she didn't have to go far for snow as numerous trees around her had overloaded with the white stuff and lost what they held with their branches.

The girl dropped her satchel with her supplies, a box of aluminum foil she found in the kitchen(she'll buy another box for the house when she gets into town), a bunch of waterproof markers, a pocket knife, a pair of scissors, and lots of beads. She was planning on using the later for the tree when it was to be decorated, but she couldn't think of anything she could use for colored eyes and some markings.

"Okay now, how many figures, lets see," Tiana counted on her fingers, "Amaro, Acenith, Sesshomara, Shashi, Akemi, and Kiyoshi. So that's six kitsunes anyway." The woman made a face, six was a lot, but she didn't want to leave any of them out.

"Time to get to work, now Amaro," Tiana smiled at the thought of her first kitsune. First created on Gaia as her very first pet, and a custom to boot, the moon kitsune followed her around in both her artwork and the internet. And now it was time to bring him into the real world, in part anyway. The woman packed snow together, shaping it and smoothing it. Her first would be sitting upright, his head tilted in the mischievous, playful way he always did, his three tails spread out behind him. Once she was finished with his shape, she went to work on the details. First she went around with her pocket knife, engraving the markings she had no way to create, the white moons on his forehead and back haunches, the white stars that dusted his coat, and the curling tattoo-like markings that went down his back. Next she took out the box of foil. She tore off a three inch strip, and then tore it into three pieces. Curving and smoothing two of the pieces the best she could, Tiana put the fake bracelets around Amaro's wrists. The final piece she rolled between her palms and then made a loop. After she placed it in Amaro's left ear she stepped back and tilted her head, something was missing. "Of course the beads," Tiana dug in her satchel and brought out two turquoise clear plastic, crystal-like beads, and one big black one. She placed the turquoise ones where the eyes would be and the black one on the tip of the snout. Tiana stepped back and smiled, "One down... five to go."


"Acenith next," Tiana deturmined as she started on another shape next to Amaro's. Acenith was a sister to Amaro, although not by blood. Acenith was the love kitsune she got in an auction (yes on Gaia XD). The two kitsunes loved to tease each other. Tiana made Acenith sit as well, facing Amaro, but a little slouched. Her tails were closer to the ground, and her ears were flat. Acenith's details were easier than the moon kitsune. After putting on the pink eyes and black nose she brought out a bunch of tiny pink beads and worked on the outlines of hearts that were on certain areas of the kitsune. "One on the forehead, three on each back thigh, and a collar of them around her neck," Tiana mumbled to herself as she counted them off. For a finishing touch, that no one in the house would understand, she cut out a fish from the foil and marked it with a black pin. When that was done, she put it on Acenith's head. The girl couldn't help but crack up with laughter. Aw did this bring back memories!

Now time for Sesshomara, Amaro's mate. Another custom by another member of Gaia. Tiana made the kitsune on the other side of Amaro, leaning in towards him a bit, tails flat on the ground. After putting in Sesshomara's golden eyes and black nose, Tiana brought out her scissors and foil. After making some calculations she cut out eight shapes that almost looked like slash marks. With her markers she colored these red. Half of the shapes she put on the kitsune's face, two on each cheek. The other four she put on Sesshomara's wrists. To finish, Tiana cut out a cresent moon and colored it blue, and placed it on the kitsune's forehead.

Next she worked on Amaro's and Sesshomara's three kids, Shashi, Akemi, and Kiyoshi, placing them in front of their parents, but far enough away as if they had distance to play.

The two girls, Shashi and Akemi, were both Moon-fire kitsune, but of the three only Shashi had the moon and star powers that her father had. For this, Tiana made Shashi lay on her back, pawing at stars in the sky, if it was night anyway. It was hard, making the snow stay where Tiana wanted it, as gravity had other plans, but she finally got it to work. After placing the dark blue eyes and nose she made the foil markings. The second eldest kitsune had the moon markings of her father and the cheek markings of her mother, but all red.

Next was Akemi, the eldest and the romantic. Tiana made her sit upright and proper next to her sister, staring too at an imaginary night sky like a lovesick pup. This was easy as it was similar to Sesshomara's pose. After making the star mark-engravings that was sprinkled all over the young kitsune's coat. After she put on all the red foil markings (moons from her father, eight slashes from her mother) she finished with the turquoise eyes and black nose.

Finally, time for the youngest and the only male of the trio, Kiyoshi, the albino-fire kitsune. Tiana also made it so Kiyoshi was sitting, his tails wrapped around him and he head looking behind at his aunt Acenith, the two always had a tight bond. The pure white kitsune was easy for Tiana, since she didn't have to engrave anything and the markings where the same as Akemi. The kitsune tamer collapsed in the snow after she placed the pure white kitsune's nose and red eyes. She was finally done, and it was getting dark. The girl's stomach growled, and Tiana was surprised she stayed out so long, especially without anything to eat.

((And I am done... actually I was planning on doing the ENTIRE family which would have made 12 kitsunes altogether , but the post was getting tedious and somewhat boring so I'll stop... gomenasai. Although I did want to make my sleepy head Asir (demon kitsune ~_^))
